    My experience with Spirit Airlines was not at all positive. My family and I were forced to reschedule our return flight home multiple times, but each time the airline cancelled without warning. We were unable to contact their customer service number or even their automated system; we had no way of knowing when our flights would be rescheduled. Additionally, it was very difficult communicating with them because their phone lines were busy or staffed poorly, and they did not respond well to emails either. In addition, travelling during road construction delays made the drive back home take more than 11 hours total – an extremely long wait for a hotel room on top of additional expenses for gas and food along the way. Avoid this Spirit airline if possible!
